Phil Ivey is only eight players apart from his eighth career bracelet. Ivey made the final table of event no. 37, ($3,000 H.O.R.S.E.) just after 9 p.m. on Monday evening.
Other famous at the final table include 2009 WSOP Player of the Year winner Jeffrey Lisandro and fellow bracelet winners Ken Aldridge, Ryan Hughes, Bill Chen and John Juanda as well as other familiar professionals like Chad Brown and David Baker.
All of the players are assured at least $22,849 for making it this far, but the winner will take home $329,840 for surviving the field of 478. If that winner is Ivey, then he will without a doubt win much more for his various bracelet bets.
Ivey has already accrued three times at the 2010 World Series of Poker and even made a deep run in event no. 33, closing in 12th place, but this is his first final table of the summer.
